An Interview
What's in a name?
This all started, not because of a book, but rather several people.
Grace ... Stella's guardian angel. Grace ... Stella's Grandmother. Grace .. Stella's Daughter who was in her life for a short time because of a tragic accident but will be with her forever.
It takes guts to share your book, especially a romance novel that you've poured deep emotion into.
And when you receive raw positive encouragement from someone close, like Stella did from Grace, you will soar.

The Publisher Asked A Couple of Questions and Stella answered.
Do you like to outline or just dive right in when writing?
Writing is a release for me so I dive right into a scene and allow it to unfold as I write.
Where do you find inspiration for writing?
This is a weighted question, some of it is from life experiences, some of it personal desires and some of it is from reading other novels. I’ve even found that an engaging t.v. show will ruffle my feathers and spark a new scene.
If you could travel to any time, what time period would you like to explore?
I have a fetish for period romances with domineering barons and helpless women. I’d love to travel to a time where that dynamic played out for me. Interestingly, I’ve never been able to write a historical romance.
Do you have any hobbies?
My family says I am always on the go, with an unquenchable thirst for adventure and a drive to show my children every possible thing I can show them. So we’re always off on another adventure, in our camper that is.
If your mood was a song right now, what would be playing?
I am a huge fan of Linkin Park because it makes me feel but that’s not the answer my readers want to hear. So my mood would deem “Are you gonna be my girl” by Jett. It’s sexy, exciting and downright hot.
Tell us about your most adventurous experience.
Should I answer this as if my grandmother is reading it or my sex crazed readers. Grandma, skip to the next answer. My husband and I exposed ourselves to some pretty erotic experiences in the twenty years we’ve been together but going to an annual event known as Nude Night has to be one of the top five.
What was the hardest part about writing Renovating His Heart?
I found myself rewriting scenes because I knew my mom and grandmother might read them. However, I’ve learned that in order to sell books, you have to think about the audience and my mom and grandmother are only two women out of the thousands that may read it. I love them both dearly though.
